What do campers do there?

How many campers attend?

Is there medical help at the ranch?

Are there any laundry facilities?
No. However, laundry services will pick up and deliver clothes each week of the Summer for approx. $15 – $20. Many items available at our Country Store; click to order online for will-call service, or have something delivered to a camper!
Do I need to bring extra money?
All meals, drinks, desserts and activities are included. We do recommend some spending money (maybe $20/week) for snacks, candy, sodas snow cones and souvenirs. Cash is converted to Pony Express Bucks with camper’s name on each dollar (SEE ALSO WHAT TO BRING)
Can I choose my bunkmates?
Bunk requests can get extremely complicated. Therefore we ask that bunk request be compiled between the campers/families that will be bunking together and all bunk mates’ enrollment forms arrive together in a single envelope. Each camper may request one bunk mate and bunk mates must request each other.
What is the typical ratio of Girls to Boys?
3:1
What is the Camper to Counselor ratio?
The ratio varies with the age group but generally is less than 10:1 with each area also under the watchful eye of a head counselor.
Who owns and operates the camp?
The camp is operated by Camp Director Tom Ewan who lives at the ranch year ’round with his family.
Rawhide Ranch is owned by a Southern California group with an interest in the camp’s longevity and growth.
